What Is H.O.O.D

Many people look at the word hood to be someone or a place that is violent, brutal, and gang oriented. However, hood is a word that derived from the word neighborhood. A neighborhood is an area set apart for some purpose, having a customized feature or people living in a particular area. So, everyone is hood or lives in a neighborhood. So, the question is what hood are you claiming? Are you Helping Others Obtain Direction or are you Helping Others Obtain Destruction? We are here to help others obtain direction. We are here to help guide one another to seek higher education, to provide support through brotherhood/sisterhood, through expressing acts of compassion to others and ourselves and to direct each other to success and to stay successful.

Mission

The mission is to help each other and others to succeed in life by providing education, direction, compassion, and brotherhood/ sisterhood in at-risk communities.
